Gay Parade Gets Ready to Rock Split, Croatia

Under the motto "Come out into a safer Split!," an LGBT Pride parade is set to take place on Saturday in the Croatian coastal city of Split.

The fifth annual Split Pride, organised by the local LGBT association Rispet, decided on the motto in order to shed light on the violence to which the LGBT community in Split is exposed on a daily basis.

Turkish Parliament hosts LGBT activists to mark transphobia victims

The Parliament of Turkey has hosted a press conference joined by LGBT activists on the occasion of the Transgender Day of Remembrance.

The Nov. 20 conference was initiated by a deputy of the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) in order to draw attention to killings of transsexual individuals, who are commonly subject to hate crimes in the country.

Tasovac announces attendance at Belgrade Pride Parade

BELGRADE- Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Ivan Tasovac conferred with representatives of the Belgrade Pride Organisation Board Marko Ilic and Boban Stojanovic on Wednesday concerning the improvement of cooperation between institutions and the LGBT community, and voiced support to the event, adding that he would attend the forthcoming Pride Parade in Serbia's capital.
