An application created by Turkish entrepreneurs allows patients from abroad to virtually tour Turkish hospitals while real-time digital representations of the hospital staff lead guests around, show the equipment, and provide information.

Famous Turkish actor Cüneyt Arkın has died at the age of 85 from a cardiac arrest on June 28.

After he fell ill last night, he was taken and treated at a private hospital in the Ulus neighborhood in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul.

His wife Betül Cüreklibatır and his family and friends visited him.

Entering the health sector three years ago, Liv Hospital, which has locations in Istanbul and Ankara, was the first corporation to receive Center of Excellence accreditation outside the U.S. in several branches.
