Medical Faculty

Sofia University has terminated all classes and internships for all specialties at the Faculty of Medicine.

The action is in protest against the decision of the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov to transform the Lozenets Hospital by merging it into the Children's Hospital "Prof. Ivan Mitev".

According to Nova source, Stankovi died as he got infected with COVID-19. The news was also confirmed to the Serbian Radio and Television.

The ceremony is attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui.
A total of 139 cadets of the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy were promoted to the first officer ranks.

At a meeting, the Academic Council of Sofia University ''St. Kliment Ohridski'' decided to propose an addition to the proposal for admission of students at the Sofia University during the academic year 2018/2019.

The  project envisages 80 seats in the Medicine specialty of the Medical Faculty of the Sofia University, the press center of the university said.

A training program at the Medical Faculty of Dokuz Eylül University in the Aegean province of İzmir employs "performing patients" for developing the professional and communication abilities of trainee doctors. 

Ten women and 15 men have played the role of "performing patients" up to today, while over 3,100 doctors have graduated from the program.
