Bulgarians Celebrate May 24 - Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius
May 24 - The Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature in Sofia will be traditionally marked with a procession and a festive program in front of the National Library, which will begin at 11 a.m.
Two arrested for vandalizing church in Thessaloniki
Police say two suspects have been arrested for vandalizing the Metropolitan Church in the center of Thessaloniki in northern Greece.
The incident took place at 3.30 a.m. Wednesday when a group of self-styled anarchists splashed paint and scattered fliers in the churchyard.
A motive was not immediately known.

Representatives of the Metropolitanate laid a yule log in front of the Cetinje Monastery in the presence of a large number of citizens and believers, including Serbia's Ambassador to Montenegro Vladimir Bozovic and businessman Miodrag Daka Davidovic.
Strong police forces were set up between the two groups of the faithful.
