The National Operations Headquarters and the government are considering lifting controls on coronavirus at borders and focusing efforts on early detection and tracing of contacts of infected people in clusters. This was announced by the member of the staff and state health inspector Angel Kunchev during the regular morning briefing on Thursday. 

The new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are 33 and the cured ones - 38.

Оnly 7 hospitals will fight the coronavirus in Sofia. This decision was reached by the National Operational Headquarters, the directors of the large Sofia hospitals and RHI - Sofia, and was announced by Assoc. Angel Kunchev today in the Council of Ministers. 

Bulgaria is becoming the first country in the world with a system for monitoring the vital parameters of patients with COVID-19 at home

The Military Medical Academy now has its own system for monitoring patients at home. It is developed by the Bulgarian IoT company Allterco Robotics and is an innovative oximeter for monitoring vital parameters.

1632 are the COVID-19 infected in Bulgaria. The newly infected people are 21, 15 of which are hospitalized. 529 samples were examined. The active regions are 7. 6 of the cases are in Sofia, 5 in Pleven and in Pazardzhik, Plovdiv - 2. Blagoevgrad, Smolyan and Vratsa - one case.

For the day, the number of newly diagnosed COVID-19 cases is 56. Of these, 14 peole are hospitalized.

The total number of infected is 1290. This was revealed at the regular briefing this morning.

In the last 24 hours there are 24 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country, 12 of them in hospital, 376 of the examined.

The total number of cases in Bulgaria is 648. The increase is by 3.8%.

30 new infected for the last 24 hours in Bulgaria. Of these, 13 were hospitalized and 498 were examined. The total number of infected persons is 611. The increase in cases is 5.2% compared to yesterday.

565 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Bulgaria at this time. This was announced by the Head of Staff, Ventsislav Mutafciiski, at his regular briefing. The increase from the previous day was more than 4 percent. The mean age of the deceased 22 people is 66 years.

31 people from the medical staff are infected.

A total of 15,899 COVID-19 tests for have been performed in the laboratories in Bulgaria from the beginning of the outbreak until today. The first tests began in the National Reference Laboratory and the Military Medical Academy, after which laboratories were opened in Stara Zagora and Varna.
