Honey exports drop by over 50 percent
KRAGUJEVAC - Serbian beekeepers exported 1,500 tons of honey last year, which is over 50 percent less than in 2013, when honey exports totalled 3,370 tons, the deputy president of the Association of Serbian Beekeepers, Milutin Petrovic, has told Tanjug.

Minister of agriculture to pay two-day visit to Hungary
BELGRADE - A delegation of the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, headed by Minister Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic, will be on a two-day working visit to Hungary on Monday and Tuesday.
Bogosavljevic Boskovic will have a bilateral meeting with Hungarian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Sandor Fazekas.
Surplus in agricultural sector totals nearly EUR 1 billion
BELGRADE - Trade surplus in the Serbian agriculture sector totalled nearly EUR 1 billion in the period from January to November 2014, which is 23 percent more than in 2013, the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture released on Monday.
The surplus totalled EUR 977.6 million in the first eleven months of 2014, as against EUR 795 million in the same period in 2013.

PRIŠTINA, BELGRADE -- Serbian citizen named as Slobodan Gavric, who was arrested in Pristina with 13 kg of explosives in his possession, was placed in 30-day custody on Saturday.
He is held "on suspicion of organising terrorist activities and bringing explosives into Kosovo," Tanjug reported.

The EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council (AGRIFISH) has kept Bulgaria's 2015 turbot quota unchanged at 43.2 tonnes.
Bulgaria's national turbot quota was decided during Monday's sitting of AGRIFISH, where Bulgaria was represented by Agriculture Minister Desislava Taneva.
