Russia Launches Tests on a New Intercontinental Ballistic Missile

In early 2020, Russia will launch tests of the RS-28 Sarmat liquid-fueled intercontinental ballistic missile, Vedomosti reports, citing sources from the Ministry of Defense and Defense Industry.

The first two rockets will be fired from the silo of the Plesetsk spaceport to the Kura range on the Kamchatka Peninsula. At least five launches are planned.

Bulgaria and Serbia Hold Bilateral Tactical Exercise "Lions Land - 2019"

The Lions Land 2019 bilateral tactical exercise began today, October 21, with the participation of military personnel from the Bulgarian and Serbian ground forces, the Ministry of Defense announced. It is being held at the Slivnitsa Training Center in the period 21 - 25 October 2019. 150 soldiers from the Brigade Command - Blagoevgrad take part in it from the Bulgarian side.

Ukraine Has a New Prime Minister

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has elected Oleksiy Honcharuk  as the new Prime Minister of the country.

35-year-old Oleksiy Honcharuk  said his mandate will focus on achieving economic growth. Until now, he was the deputy head of President Zelensky's cabinet, which aired his candidacy.
