Türkiye, Russia to study Putin’s gas hub proposal
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Oct. 14 Türkiye and Russia have instructed their respective energy authorities to immediately begin technical studies on a Russian proposal that would turn Türkiye into a gas hub for Europe.

Turkey eyes new record in gold production by 2021
Turkish gold production by the end of 2021 is estimated to surpass the record high level in the history of the Turkish Republic that was made last year, Mehmet Yılmaz, president of the Turkish Gold Miners Association, told Anadolu Agency on March 3.
Production in 2020 peaked at 42 tonnes but is estimated to reach a volume of 45 tonnes at least by the year-end, Yılmaz said.

EBRD offers new 400 mln-euro financing for small-scale sustainable energy projects in Turkey
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has said it is providing a new 400 million euro financing package for small-scale renewable energy and resource efficiency projects Turkey in a bid to support the country's continuous drive towards a low-carbon economy, in a written statement on Dec. 7.
