Ministry of Health: Bulgaria Joined the FOEDUS Agreement for Cooperation in the Sphere or Organ Transplantation
The Ministry of Healthcare has announced that Bulgaria joined the European FOEDUS agreement for cooperation in the sphere or organ transplantation. Currently, its active participants are 10 EU countries, BNR reported.
Most European countries are experiencing difficulties in this area, such as declining number of donors and the shortage of qualified medical staff.
The Health Ministry will Restrict Smoking of Hookah
"The Ministry of Healthcare is initiating an inter-ministerial task force to develop and propose measures to curb the use of hookahs and vegetable products for smoking," he said. The first meeting of the working group will be on August 30th.
The Government will Provide BGN 35.1 Million to Municipalities for Improvement of Infrastructure
The government approved additional expenses and transfers for the 2017 budget for a number of municipalities adding up to BGN 35.1 million. This was announced by Government information service, cited by Focus.
