116 222 Foreigners Got Bulgarian Passports from 2001 to Mid 2015

A total of 116 222 foreigners have received Bulgarian citizenship in the period between 2001 and May 2015. The information has been confirmed by the Ministry of Justice.

Out of them, 113 647 people have been granted citizenship on account of their origins. The total number of candidates for the same period was 185 447.

Bulgaria's Ministry of Justice has published its draft proposals to introduce changes to the judiciary.

The future looks laxer for tough criminals in Greece

The Ministry of Justice created a draft bill to abolish high-security prisons. The bill was passed in principle at Thursday's evening by the votes of the ruling Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) party and its junior coalition member, the Independent Greeks (ANEL).
