Israel starts lifting anti-coronavirus restrictions from February 21, but only for vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19, according to the country's Ministry of Tourism. Only holders of the so-called "green passports" will be allowed to visit gyms, swimming pools, fitness clubs, hotels (excluding restaurants), cultural sites and events.

Among the priorities of Bulgaria's  Ministry of Tourism is to develop and upgrade  bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism with Saudi Arabia at both institutional and business level, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariana Nikolova during her meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H. E.

The Regional Health Inspectorates, Consumer Protection Commission and the Interior Ministry will be asked to carry out mass inspections at guesthouses and hotels on the occasion of the Student Holiday celebration on 8 December. This was reported by the press office of the Ministry of Tourism.

 The main Bulgarian ski resorts - Borovets, Bansko and Pamporovo have made serious investments to meet the requirements due to the coronary crisis. Inspections by the Ministry of Tourism confirm the high level of safety and security in winter resorts.

Despite the order of the Minister of Health, for mandatory wearing of masks in closed public places, an exception is allowed for restaurants. This is what the instructions published today for the operation of restaurants, family hotels and guest houses read.

There are already 25 beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, which offer the use of free umbrellas and sunbeds for the active summer season of 2020, the Ministry of Tourism announced. 

The indoor restaurants will open on June 1, this was said to bTV by the Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova.

Angelkova assured that the control will be extremely strict. Currently, the Ministry of Tourism is in talks with the headquarters and the Minister of Health about the measures to be taken to operate restaurants, cafes and discos.

An online platform called "Greece from Home" will be launched by the Ministry of Tourism, the Greek Tourism Organization and Marketing Greece, with the support of Google, aimed at reinforcing the country's positive image during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Bulgarian tourism is becoming increasingly more competitive because of its wide variety of high-quality services.

The government has approved a draft Joint Action Programme between Bulgaria's Ministry of Tourism and Greece' Ministry of Tourism for 2020-2022, said the government press office.
The document reflects the willingness of the countries to strengthen their friendly relations and to contribute to the further development of cooperation in the field of tourism.
