Тhe press center of the MoI Directorate announced that 25 200 cigarettes without an excise band were found in a car in Kyustendil. Tobacco smugglers were found by law enforcement officers during an inspection.

The vehicle was driven by a 28-year-old woman. She is detained for 24 hours with a police order. A pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the District of Kyustendil.

A murder of a 56-year-old man is being investigated in Pleven, announced today the MoI Directorate.

The crime occurred on June 14 as a result of a scandal on a household basis between father and son. In the family home, the 26-year-old has struck his father with an axe. The 56-year-old man was admitted to a Pleven hospital where he died on 17 June.

A young man has committed suicide at a car wash in Blagoevgrad. The signal for the incident was filed at 08.13 hrs, said the spokesperson of the MoI Directorate-Blagoevgrad, Yordanka Sharkova, quoted BTA.

"There is no evidence of a violent death." According to initial information, the suicide was committed with a firearm, "Sharkova added.
