The Sofia Appellate Court refused to alleviate the remand measure of house arrest of Oktay Enimehmedov, the man who attacked the honorary lifetime Chairman of DPS Ahmed Dogan.

On January 19, 2013, Enimehmedov pointed a gun at Ahmed Dogan while he was delivering his resignation speech at a party conference.

Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office has not received any request to issue an arrest warrant for lawmaker Delyan Peevski over alleged death threats to banker Tsvetan Vasilev. 

Bulgaria's Parliament appointed on Thursday Stanislav Anastasov as Minister of Environment and Waters.
