Sofia Appellate Court Leaves Dogan Attacker under House Arrest

The Sofia Appellate Court refused to alleviate the remand measure of house arrest of Oktay Enimehmedov, the man who attacked the honorary lifetime Chairman of DPS Ahmed Dogan.

On January 19, 2013, Enimehmedov pointed a gun at Ahmed Dogan while he was delivering his resignation speech at a party conference.

Delyan Peevski 'Refused to Support' Tsvetan Vasilev's PM Ambitions

Bulgarian DPS lawmaker Delyan Peevski said banker Tsvetan Vasilev desired to be Prime Minister and could not accept the former did not back his aspirations.

Bulgaria's Parliament to Discuss Vetoed Interior Ministry Bill

Bulgarian MPs will again discuss the Ministry of Interior Bill which was adopted in end-May, and was vetoed by President Rosen Plevneliev.

After the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) and the Ataka party rejected the veto, the bill will be put up for discussion again, Wednesday, Nova Tv reports.
