President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the nation has displayed its will with the votes reflected at the parliament in the May 14 elections, which is in favor of the People's Alliance.

"On May 14, our nation actually declared its will by giving the majority of the parliament seats with 323 deputies to the People's Alliance," Erdoğan tweeted on May 22.

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reiterated his readiness to run in the next presidential elections as the candidate of the Nation's Alliance if the opposition agrees on his name.

"If there is an agreement on my name, I have no right to object," Kılıçdaroğlu said in an interview with FOX TV on Feb. 3.

It is "very respectable" that the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said he would be honored if the opposition parties offer his nomination for the upcoming presidential elections, İYİ (Good) Party leader Meral Akşener said.

According to the new law, foreigners will now pay around 2.2 euros per cubic metre for water supplies and 100,000 Turkish liras (over 7,200 euros) for civil marriages in the city of Bolu.

The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) and İYİ (Good) Party launched joint rallies on March 6 as part of their "Nation's Alliance" in two metropolitan municipalities for the upcoming local elections.
