Bucharest, Oct 15 /Agerpres/ - The Custodian of the Crown, Margareta, and Prince Radu participated on Tuesday, in the context of their visit to Paris, in the official inauguration of the "Queen Mary of Romania Promenade," located on the banks of the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower, informs a Royal House release issued for AGERPRES.

The French historian is one of the petitioners urging Paris to withdraw its recognition of Kosovo, and is also announcing the launch of this initiative in the French parliament.

PARIS - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Friday wrapped up a visit to France with a meeting with Claude Bartolone, president of the National Assembly of France.

They discussed bilateral cooperation, France's support for Serbia's EU path and economic cooperation.

President Klaus Iohannis is paying an official visit to France on Tuesday, where he'll meet his counterpart, Francois Hollande, the Senate Chairman, Gerard Larcher, the President of the National Assembly, Claude Bartolone and representatives of the Romanian community in France.

The brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi, who are suspected of having killed 12 people in the attack on Charlie Hebdo weekly, have told police they want to "die in martyrdom", a French official says.

This comes as authorities have started talks with the two men, nearly 48 hours after the events at Charlie Hebdo's office.
