Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Monday received a letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping, the president's office has announced.

In it, the Chinese leader thanked Vucic's for his congratulations on the occasion of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi's re-election as secretary-general of the party's Central Committee.

Vucic receives letters from China's leaders

President Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday received Chinese Ambassador Li Manchang, who handed him letters from Chinese President Xi Jinping and PM Li Keqiang.

The ambassador conveyed to Vucic greetings from the president and the PM, noting that Xi had highlighted the exceptional and "timeless and friendly" relations between Serbia and China.
