Orange Code for Dangerous Weather over Bulgaria

 Orange code for heavy rainfall is in force for 4 regions of the country for January 4th. 8 regions are with yellow code, warns the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).

 Orange code is valid for the regions: Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Pernik and Smolyan. Significant rainfall is expected there, at about 1700 meters above sea level it will snow.

Weather Forecast: Mostly Sunny

It will be mostly sunny today, with temporary increase in clouds, more considerably in the afternoon.

The winds will be light, or light to moderate in the Danubian Plain and eastern Bulgaria, blowing from the east. Maximum temperatures will range between 14C and 19C, in Sofia around 14C.

Weather Forecast: Sunny and Warm

It will be sunny today, with light to moderate wind from the west-southwest.

The daily temperatures will rise, reaching highs of 16C to 21C, in Sofia - about 17C. Atmospheric pressure will drop but will remain higher than the average for the month.

Today, from the northwest, precipitation will stop, at the latest in the southeastern areas, and the clouds will begin to quickly break and decrease. The wind will shift to north-northeast and will drop to moderate. Maximum temperatures between 9C and 14C. Atmospheric pressure will rise, it will be higher than the average for April.
