Weather Advisory: Exercise Caution for Mountain Hiking on Saturday
The Mountain Rescue Service has issued a cautionary report for mountain hiking enthusiasts planning outings on Saturday. Anticipating poor weather conditions, the Service advises against undertaking hiking activities due to precarious circumstances in the mountains.
Weather in Bulgaria: The Sun is Back!
It will be mostly sunny on Thursday. A moderate wind will continue to blow from the west-northwest, but after noon it will gradually weaken. This was reported by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH)
Maximum temperatures will be between 11°C and 16°C.
In the capital, the maximum temperatures will be around 11°C.

Bulgaria: Warning for Yellow Code for Strong Winds in 6 Regions!
A yellow wind code for the northeastern regions - Silistra, Razgrad, Shumen, Ruse, Varna and Dobrich, was issued by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) for today.
Weather in Bulgaria: Orange Code for Temperatures above 40 degrees in 10 Provinces
Orange code for dangerously high temperatures has been announced today for 10 provinces in Bulgaria. The warning for temperatures of 40 - 41 degrees Celsius is in effect for Ruse, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv, Pazardjik, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Yambol, Kardjali and Blagoevgrad.
For all other areas, the code is yellow, with maximum temperatures ranging from 35 to 38 degrees.
Bulgaria: Snow on Musala Peak (VIDEO)
Forecasters from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology warned of a cold snap today, and despite record temperatures in recent days, snow fell on Musala this morning. This was reported by Rosen Dimitrov from NIMH, who is an observer at the weather station on the summit.
