Russian ambassador’s killer secret FETÖ member: Court verdict

A Turkish court on April 18 concluded its reasoned decision on the assassination of Russian Ambassador to Ankara Andrey Karlov.

In a detailed verdict, the court reasoned that Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş, an off-duty police officer who killed the ambassador in 2016 at a time of the reconciliation of Turkish-Russian relations, was a secret member of FETÖ.

Can Dündar gets 27-year prison term in espionage trial

A Turkish court on Dec. 23 sentenced Can Dündar to 27 years and six months in prison for aiding the terror group FETÖ by publishing state secrets, although not being a part of the hierarchical structure of the organization.

Under the indictment submitted to Istanbul's High Criminal Court no:14 on Oct. 14, Dündar could get anywhere from about 22 to 35 years behind bars.

High-level Turkish delegation pays visit to Libya

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın and National Intelligence Organization (MİT) chair Hakan Fidan visited Libya on June 17 for official meetings.

The delegation met with the U.N.-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj.
