More than 800 new Covid-19 infections recorded for second day
Greek health authorities confirmed 858 new coronavirus infections on Wednesday, raising the total number of cases to 154,083.
This was the second day in a row that the number of new cases have been above the 800-mark.
Of these new infections, just 11 were reported at the country's entry points.
Vaccination starts in small Aegean islands

Greek health authorities reported 842 new coronavirus infections on Tuesday, pushing the total number of cases to 153,226.
Of these new cases, 13 were reported at the country's entry points.
There were 283 intubated patients on Tuesday, with a median age of 68, according to data from the daily bulletin of the National Organization for Public Health (EODY).

Covid-19 deaths back up to 30, as new infections also rise
After a drop in the 24-hour death toll to below 20, daily Covid-19 fatalities rose again on Tuesday to 30 from the previous day's 19, the National Organization for Public Health (EODY) reported.
New infections were also up on Tuesday by 566 from Monday's 320, EODY's daily bulletin showed, while the number of patients in intensive care came to 320 from the previous day's 322.
