Bulgaria: Sofia will have an "Ice Park"
For the first time, Sofia will have its own "Ice Park". Like many cities in Europe, the Bulgarian capital will get this ice rink this winter. The news was announced today by Mayor Yordanka Fandakova and Anatoly Iliev - Deputy Chairman of the Foundation "Sofia - European Capital of Sports".

Cricket Tournament for 4th Ambassador Champions Trophy held in Sofia
A friendly cricket tournament was held on Saturday, 3 July 2021 at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" ground in Student City, Sofia. The tournament was organized by the Association India with the Cricket Federation of Bulgaria. This was the fourth such Annual cricket tournament held in Sofia for the Ambassador Champions Trophy 2021.

Four Buildings in ‘Studentski Grad’ Became the First University Campus in Sofia
Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova announced that the detailed development plan of the quarter envisaged the construction of everything that could be built, including the yard of the National Sports Academy.
The new plan, adopted by her team in 2008, saved Student's City from over-construction. It is now possible to make over 10 campuses.

For the first time since 2008, BGN 29.4 million was granted in 2019 for the renovation of the student dorms in the country, after such funds were not allocated for such a long period. This was said by Yana Vangelova, chairman of the National Student Councils (NSSC) at the universities.
Ministers Vote on the Amount of University Fees
The government will vote on the amount of application and study fees at state universities for the next academic year.
17 universities will probably maintain their current fees. Among them are the medical universities in Sofia and Varna, NATFIZ, the National Sports Academy, UNWE.
