Greek Army Set to Get 1-billion-Euro Upgrade

Trump Pushes for New 'Space Force'
President Donald Trump said Tuesday he wants the US military to create a new "space force," adding to the Pentagon's current ground, navy and air forces.
Trump told troops at the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station near San Diego that the new group would be able to encapsulate the "tremendous amount" of work the military and government are doing in space-related defense.

We have to be extremely careful when we attempt to draw conclusions about who would stand by Greece or Cyprus at a crucial moment.
We tend to celebrate when we hear that the navy of an allied country will stand up to the Turks if it has to, only to sink into disappointment when the expectation fails to materialize.

Colombia Navy Seizes 5 Tons of Cocaine Near Border with Panama
The Colombian navy said Tuesday it has seized a massive shipment of cocaine in the northwest of Colombia.
According to the navy, 5.2 metric tons of the illicit drugs were found in a shipment of bananas in a port in the Uraba region after a tip from the Police.
The bananas were meant to be shipped to Europe.

Bulgaria will launch procedures for the procurement of fighter jets and wheeled armoured vehicles by the end of March, defence minister Krassimir Karakachanov said on Tuesday.
