Romania and the United Stats of America will continue to be a bulwark of Euro-Atlantic values and they will meet all the future challenges together, as partners and allies, a joint press statement issued on Monday by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Department of State underscores.

Approximately 70 Romanian soldiers who participate in NATO's "Resolute Support" mission in Afghanistan, in NATO's "Inherent Resolve" coalition type of mission in Iraq and in the training and counselling mission of the European Union in the Central African Republic are to be repatriated, informs a press release of the Ministry of National Defence (MApN).

The North-Atlantic Alliance has made it possible to strengthen security at the regional and global level and create the conditions for the complementarity of the activities carried out together with the European Union in areas of common interest for the two international organizations, reads a message delivered on Sunday by President Klaus Iohannis on the occasion of the NATO Day.
