Brussels Group meets at noon in Paris

Brussels Group will get back down to business on Saturday at around 3 pm (Athens time), in a meeting that will take place in Paris, France for “technical reasons,” as announced by the Greek Ministry of Finance.

The aim of the meeting is to prepare for the next Eurogroup to be held on Friday, April 24 in Riga, Latvia.

Greece has highest tax wedges for one-earner families with two kids, OECD report says

Greece has the highest tax wedges (43.4 percent) for one-earner families with two children at the average wage among the 34 countries of the OECD, a new report by the Paris-based organization shows.

The average for OECD countries is 26.9 percent, ?Taxing Wages 2015? said.

OECD General-Secretary Ángel Gurría on Tuesday emphasized that the Troika is not responsible for the Greek government's problems, in statements published by the Italian newspaper "Il Sole 24", where he adds that the Athens' problems didn't begin five years ago but much further back.
