Poll: BSP Voters are Bigger Russophiles than the Voters of “Vazrazhdane”
In June, eight parties received enough support from voters to enter parliament, and in three of them, those who sympathize with Bulgaria's alliance with Russia and Belarus outnumber those who support the European Union and NATO. In just one of them, more than half are about to turn to Moscow and Minsk, which together attacked Ukraine four months ago.

Every third of the adults in Bulgaria (36%) state that they do not spend time reading books, and every fourth (24%) read almost daily. This shows the data from a national representative survey of public opinion conducted by the Open Society Institute - Sofia in April 2018, reports MediaPool.bg
Balkan Countries Most Vulnerable to 'Fake' News, Report
Balkan countries are the most vulnerable in Europe to the "fake" news and post-truth phenomenon, a new report says, blaming media that are highly controlled by the state or business interests, educational deficiencies and low overall trust levels in society.
Those are the main conclusions of the Media Literacy Index compiled by the Open Society Institute, OSI, in Sofia.
Bulgarians Only Trust EU, Army, Church
The Bulgarian Armed Forces, the Orthodox Church, the European Union and universities are the only institutions in Bulgaria enjoying "trust of around and more than 50%," a survey has shown.
The representatives survey, conducted by the Open Society Institute - Sofia, shows "the majority of citizens express permanent distrust of the main institutions of representative democracy."
