PRISTINA - Kosovo's municipalities must further improve compliance with the law on use of languages, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) mission in Pristina has concluded in a report.
Zannier urges Serbs to take part in Kosovo elections
BELGRADE - Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Secretary-General Lamberto Zannier has urged Serbs to take part in the June 8 legislative elections in Kosovo-Metohija.
In a statement to reporters on Saturday, Zannier said that he has always been convinced that progress on the Kosovo issue requires participation in elections.

Ukraine separatists confirm they detained OSCE observers
The leader of pro-Moscow insurgents in the city of Slavyansk in eastern Ukraine confirmed Thursday that his forces had detained four observers from the European security body OSCE but would release them.
G7 'to intensify Russia sanctions'
The G7 group of economic powers has agreed to intensify sanctions on Russia over its actions in Ukraine.
A G7 statement gave no detail of the sanctions, but US officials said they could announce measures by Monday, reports BBC.

Crimea Part of Russia, Says Regional Deputy PM
A decree making Crimea part of the Russian Federation was voted in the regional Parliament on Thursday.
