Presidential decree restructures Foreign Ministry

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has signed a presidential decree bringing significant structural changes to Türkiye's Foreign Ministry, aiming to enhance specialization.

The decree, published in the country's official gazette on April 6, outlines key alterations including the establishment of new general directorates and the reorganization of existing units.

Erdoğan arrives in Astana for Turkic states summit

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has departed for the Kazakh capital Astana to attend the 10th summit of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

According to a statement from Türkiye's Directorate of Communications, the two-day summit held under the theme "Turk Time" aims to facilitate discussions on enhancing cooperation within the organization.

Turkic states hold key position in Europe’s energy security: Erdoğan

The Organization of Turkic States will play a strategic role in regional transportation, supply chain and energy security, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on March 16.

"Thanks to the southern gas corridor, the backbone of which is TANAP, Turkic states have become a key player in Europe's energy security," Erdoğan said at a gathering of the Organization of Turkic States.
