Deputies' spending at almost 92 ml lei in first six months of the year

The deputies' spending in the first six months of the year amounts to 91,849,485 lei, shows data released on the website of the Chamber of Deputies. The month-by-month breakdown is as follows: January - 14,294,989 lei; February - 14,362,077 lei; March - 16,018,184 lei; April - 15,870,539 lei; May - 15,586,634 lei; June - 15,716,962 lei.

Council of Europe Assembly to Suspend Bosnia’s Membership

Bosnia and Herzegovina will be suspended from the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the PACE, for failing to appoint new representatives to that body.

According to the Council of Europe's Rules, member states must nominate new delegations to the Parliamentary Assembly within six months of the day of an election.

There is a New Chief of the Bulgaria's Agriculture Commission

The Parliament elected Maria Belova as chairman of the Agricultural Commission in place of Desislava Taneva, who took over the post of Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.

Georgi Stankov became a member of the Committee on the Policies for Bulgarians Abroad. His place in the Defense Committee took Gemma Grozdanova.

USR asks PACE to notify Venice Commission about ordinances announced in justice field

The Save Romania Union (USR) asked the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) to notify the Venice Commission in respect to the new emergency ordinances that the PSD-ALDE (Social Democratic Party - Alliance of Liberals and Democrats) Government is preparing in the justice field, USR informed in a release on Monday.
