The internationally acclaimed Russian pianist and faculty member at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Natalia Trull, is coming to Athens to perform a piano recital at the Parnassos Literary Society (8 Georgiou Karytsi, lsparnas.gr). First Viennese School | Athens | June 8
The Athens State Orchestra's successful string quartet takes the stage at the Parnassos Literary Society (lsparnas.gr), with a tribute to the First Viennese School. Among the highlights of the program being presented by Apollon Grammatikopoulos and Panagiotis Tziotis on violin, Angela Giannaki on viola and Isidoros Sideris on cello, is Beethoven's String Quartet No 8.

Gallardo & Kloeckner | Athens | October 7
Argentinean pianist Jose Gallardo and German cellist Benedict Kloeckner will inaugurate the new season at the Parnassos Literary Society with a concert titled "Stay Tuned." The two soloists, who have been gaining widespread critical popularity in recent years, will perform selections of Mendelssohn, Chopin, Shostakovich and Piazzolla. The concert starts at 8.30 p.m.

Double Bill | Athens | To March 7
The Stoart Gallery puts the spotlight on two important Greek women artists who showed their work together at a landmark show at the Parnassos Literary Society in 1906 that met with great critical acclaim. The more than 100 works by Thalia Flora-Karavia (1871-1960), a proponent of the Munich School, and Sophia Laskaridou (1876-1965) shed light on their evolution as artists.
