BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will hold consultations on the formation of the new government on Thursday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 22, with the representatives of electoral lists that gave MPs for the new parliament makeup.

RIK: SNS wins 158 seats, SPS-44, DS-19, NDS-18
BELGRADE - The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS)-led coalition swept 158 seats in the Serbian parliament, the SPS-led coalition secured 44 seats, the Democratic Party (DS) - 19, and the New Democratic Party -18 seats, according to the data by the national electoral commission (RIK) based on 99.08 percent of the polling stations or 99.44 percent of the electorate.

BELGRADE -- According to preliminary results of the Election Commission (RIK) only four coalitions and lists of ethnic minorities will have seats in the new parliament.
These preliminary results were announced during a news conference held at midnight in Belgrade.
