One suspect detained for attack against CHP headquarters
Turkish police has detained a suspect in relation to an attack on the main opposition party's headquarters, while President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has called the main opposition leader in order to extend his sympathies about the attack.
Police raid Koza ?pek's media headquarters in Istanbul
Police used water cannon and tear gas early Oct. 28 to enter Koza ?pek Holding's media group headquarters in Istanbul to implement a court order to seize control of the holding. Police and newly-appointed trustees later entered the main control room, causing disruption in the broadcast. The broadcast briefly went off air.
