CHP head expresses desire for sole power without presidential mandate

Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu has expressed his desire to form a single-party government through the votes of Turkish citizens, regardless of President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an's initiative to give the mandate if the CHP does not gain a majority of the vote in the upcoming Nov. 1 election.

Football club head denies president's call, apologizes for sexist remarks

Police raid Koza ?pek's media headquarters in Istanbul

Police used water cannon and tear gas early Oct. 28 to enter Koza ?pek Holding's media group headquarters in Istanbul to implement a court order to seize control of the holding. Police and newly-appointed trustees later entered the main control room, causing disruption in the broadcast. The broadcast briefly went off air.
