Erdogan Accepts Turkish Government's Resignation

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has now officially accepted the resignation of the government led by Prime Minister Ahmet Davtoglu, RT reported.

"The president thanked the government for its work to date, President's press office stated, as reported by TASS information agency. '' The cabinet will continue working until the new government is put together."

Preliminary election results announced with objections from parties

Turkey's Supreme Election Board (YSK) announced June 9 the temporary results of the June 7 general elections, but the exact number of deputies that will represent the four parties at the parliament remains uncertain, mainly due to ongoing objections in at least four places.
