Romanians abroad will have three days and 835 polling stations at their disposal to vote in the presidential election, starting this Friday. Thus, the polling stations abroad will be open between 12.00 pm and 9.00 pm on Friday, local time, and between 7.00 am and 9.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, local time.

Schools, cultural centres, hotels, restaurants and children's entertainment venues will host polling stations for Romanian nationals abroad voting in the November presidential election, according to a list published by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP). AEP has approved 835 polling stations abroad in all, with the most being in Spain - 143.

Minister for Romanians Abroad Natalia Intotero said on Friday, at the presentation of her ministry's activity report for the years 2017-2019, that the budget allocated to MRP for supporting the activity of Romanians everywhere was 33,539,000 lei, of which 7,029,000 lei for 2017, 11,785,000 lei for 2018 and 14,665,000 lei for 2019.

AEP approves proposals on 444 polling stations abroad in presidential elections of November

The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) approved through Decision No.35/2019, the proposals of the diplomatic missions and consular offices regarding the 444 polling stations abroad in the presidential elections of 2019, a release of the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) sent to AGERPRES on Saturday informed.
