Montenegro Police Arrest Opposition Leader’s Mother, Cousin
Police in Montenegro on Friday arrested the mother and cousin of a leader of the opposition Democratic Front, Milan Knezevic. Media reports said that retired teacher Ratka Knezevic, 70, was detained at the family home in the village of Mojanovici, near the capital, Podgorica.

Montenegro Urged to Punish Border Policeman’s Killers
The assistant director of the Montenegrin Police Directorate, Nikola Janjusevic, said after the killing of the police officer on Sunday that the attackers must face justice.
Montenegro border police officer Milutin Lekovic was shot in the head in the resort town of Igalo, not far from Croatia, during the arrest of three foreign nationals who did not have any documents.
Montenegro Extradites ‘Coup Plot’ Witness Sindjelic to Croatia
Montenegro on Wednesday extradited Sasa Sindjelic, a former protected witness in the Montenegro "Coup Plot" trial, to Croatia, where he is to serve a jail sentence over an unrelated case.
It previously arrested Sindjelic, a Serbian national, on the basis of an Interpol "red notice" submitted by Croatia.

The Police Directorate of Athens International Airport on Friday held a special seminar for airport workers who are responsible for inspecting travel documents.
The seminar, part of which was conducted by experts from Germany, was attended by 120 people, among them air carrier employees, ground crews and airport staff.

11 People were Detained in Large Scale Police Operation in Plovdiv
In a massive police operation last week, 11 people were detained on the territory of the Directorate-General of the Ministry of Interior - Plovdiv, 6 pre-trial proceedings were instituted, 4 acts were issued.
