Vucic Not Tackling Serbia's Corruption, Experts Say
Zoran Stojiljkovic, head of Serbia's Anti-Corruption Agency, told BIRN that there are no objective indications that corruption was decreasing in Serbia even though the ruling Progressive Party won a decisive election in 2012 on an anti-corruption manifesto.
Serbian Media Favour Progressives, Opposition Say
Opposition politicians in Serbia claim the ruling Progressive Party is getting most air time on televisions for its election campaign, while the opposition can only find space in alternative, social media.
"We are presented in the media by a very small percentage, if we are presented at all," Zoran Krasic, from the Serbian Radical Party, told BIRN.

Sigmunder David Gunlaugsson is the first major casualty of the global Panama Papers leaks from law firm Mossack Fonseca, which have brought the world offshore finance into the spotlight.

Serbia Fires Power Chief For Buying Limos
Serbia's government on Thursday fired Aleksandar Obradovic, a member of the ruling Progressive Party, for purchasing two Audis for the company in defiance of the belt-tightening measures introduced by the government.
Obradovic had been head of the Serbian power company since 2012.

Serbia's Opposition Fails to Unite Ahead of Polls
The former ruling Democratic Party (DS) and its splinter groups, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and the Social Democratic Party (SDS), failed to agree on a joint electoral list on Monday, meaning they will run against the popular Progressives on their own.
Their failure to agree came two days before the final session of the country's parliament under its current mandate.
