PM criticizes provincial govt. reshuffle

BELGRADE -- Aleksandar Vučić says the reshuffle of the provincial government of Vojvodina has provided for "the most interesting detail of the political scene in Serbia."

The prime minister added that "elections will show that all of them together have several times fewer votes than one political party."

NOVI SAD - President of the Vojvodina Executive Council Bojan Pajtic said on Monday that even without the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM), there was still a majority in the provincial assembly that would vote in favour of making changes to the council's composition.

Parties agree to reshuffle provincial government

NOVI SAD -- The League of Vojvodina Social-Democrats (LSV) and the Democratic Party (DS) have reached an agreement to make changes to the provincial government.

The two parties made the announcement on Wednesday.

BELGRADE - Over 30 attacks against Serbs and Serb-owned property have occurred in Kosovo-Metohija over the past two weeks but none of the perpetrators have been identified so far, the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Djuric, said on Tuesday.

State "for years failed to react to violence"

NOVI SAD -- The state for years failed to react to vandalism of those who in the 1990s "did not manage to fit into respecting the values of a multi-ethnic society."

NOVI SAD - The provincial government will help the reconstruction of bakeries and other shops owned by ethnic Albanians that were damaged or demolished in several towns in Vojvodina, President of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Bojan Pajtic said on Saturday.
