The temperature drop is expected over the weekend; the cool weather front will be followed by rain.

As announced by the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, precipitation will be higher in the central and southern parts of Serbia, with the snowfall expected on the mountains.

BELGRADE - The snow that fell during the night and low temperatures causing icy roads made driving in Serbia difficult on Monday, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia (AMSS) said in a release Monday morning.

A lot of snow is expected during the day and evening, so motorists are being warned to drive with caution.

SABAC - The emergency headquarters in the city of Sabac, western Serbia, said in a release Saturday that they will continue with activities to preserve the defense walls on the Sava River and clean up areas where flood waters have receded.
