Dan Stoenescu was born on November 4, 1980, in Constanta.

He has graduated the Austin College in Texas, USA, holding a bachelor's degree in International Studies (2003), while in 2005 he became the holder of a master's degree in Globalization and Development from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.

Romanian-Portuguese cooperation in the areas of culture, education, science, sports, tourism

A cooperation programme in the areas of language, education, science, technology and higher education, culture, sports, youth, mass media and tourism was signed in Bucharest on Wednesday by Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) President Radu Boroianu and Camoes Cooperation and Language Institute President Ana Paula Laborinho.

Senate appoints Radu Boroianu president of Romanian Cultural Institute

The Senate appointed on Tuesday Radu Boroianu as president of the Romanian Cultural Institute.

Boroianu was nominated by the ruling Social Democrat Party and Liberal Conservative Party groups in the Senate; he got 64 votes in favour and 49 against in a secret ballot.
