Russian patriarch prays in Orthodox church in Antarctica
Russian Patriarch Kirill was in Antarctica where he met with scientists at a Russian polar station, and prayed in the only permanent church on the continent.

US urges Vatican to get tough with Putin on Ukraine
The United States urged the Vatican on June 10 to criticise Russia's involvement in the Ukraine conflict more forcefully, hours before Pope Francis was due to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"It does seem that Russia is supporting the insurgents and does seem that there are Russian troops inside Ukraine," said Ken Hackett, the US ambassador to the Vatican.
