Naryshkin: Serbia has objective view of situation in Ukraine

BELGRADE - Politicians and the public in Serbia have drawn an objective assessment of the situation in Ukraine and are deriving very precise conclusions concerning the events there, and Russia is grateful to them for this, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin stated in Belgrade on Tuesday.

Naryshkin pays tribute to victims of NATO aggression

BELGRADE - Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin on Tuesday laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame memorial in Belgrade, dedicated to the victims of the 1999 NATO aggression.

Also paying tributes in New Belgrade's Friendship Park were members of a Russian Duma delegation that is on a two-day visit to Serbia.

Chepurin: Serbs,Russians have always been on side of justice

BELGRADE - The Russian Embassy in Belgrade organised a reception late on Monday to mark May 9, the Victory Day, and on this occasion Russian Ambassador Alexander Chepurin stated that Serbs and Russians have always been on the side of justice and have demonstrated that victories are scored by those who are backed by the truth and not by those who have the money and power.

Chepurin announces conference in Belgrade on May 5-6

BELGRADE -Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin has said that Serbia and Russia should
hold a joint news conference, dedicated to the centenary of the beginning of World War I, in Belgrade on May 5-6.

A delegation of the Russian State Duma led by Speaker Sergey Naryshkin will take part in the conference, Chepurin told Itar-Tass.
