MT KOPAONIK - The 30th Kopaonik Business Forum, hosted by the Serbian Association of Economists (SES), opened on Monday.

Speaking about key achievements since last year's forum, SES President Aleksandar Vlahovic said the performance of Western Balkan economies in 2022 had been significantly poorer compared to 2021.

As Dragijana Radonjic Petrovic, Vice President of Serbian Association of Economists said, this is one of the most important topics for the country, while investing in infrastructure has produced good results in the last year.

MT KOPAONIK - The 25th Jubilee Kopaonik Business Forum has demonstrated that good macroeconomic conditions need to be transformed into sustainable growth and that there will be no major growth without a higher level of investments, Aleksandar Vlahovic, president of the Serbian Association of Economists, said Wednesday.

BELGRADE - The international conference Vienna Economic Talks - Belgrade Meeting 2017 resumed on Monday with a panel on regional cooperation of Western Balkan countries on their European path.

BELGRADE - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) annually invests 300 mln euros in Serbia, but we want to increase the figure to 400 mln and even bring it close to 500 mln, EBRD Director for Serbia Daniel Berg said Monday.

BELGRADE - Turkish companies are very interested in Serbia as it offers the best conditions for foreign investors in the region - currently we have 12 or 13 Turkish investors that have opened factories in Serbia and we expect the number to double by the end-year, Aleksandar Medjedovic of the Turkish-Serbian Business Council said Monday.
