FIFA fined Kosovo, Croatia over "Kill the Serbs" chants by fans

BELGRADE - Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) will have to pay 30,000 Swiss francs due to the improper conduct of fans at a match against Croatia.

Kosovo and Croatian fans chanted "Kill the Serb" during the match in a World Cup qualifier, played on 6 October in Skadar, Albania.

Serbian FA: New UEFA boss as "great victory for football"

FSS President Slavisa Kokeza says Wednesday's election of Slovenian lawyer Aleksander Ceferin as president of UEFA was "a great victory for the sport."

"The FSS (Serbian Football Association) was among the first to back his candidacy, recognizing his energy and potential for performing such a responsible duty," he added.

UEFA rejects appeals, Serbia still down 3 points

NYON - The UEFA appeals committee has rejected the appeals to the penalties given out regarding the incidents that occurred at a cancelled match between Serbia and Albania.

It means Serbia will remain 3 points short in the fight to qualify for the next European championship. The points were taken away in the original decision by the UEFA disciplinary committee.

BELGRADE -- President of the Serbian Football Association (FSS) Tomislav Karadžić says the FSS has filed an appeal to the UEFA over the three points taken from Serbia.

UEFA made the decision following the abandonment of the EURO 2016 qualifier Serbia played against Albania in Belgrade last month.
