Kosovo-Serbia Recognition Disputes to Resume as Moratorium Ends

A year after US President Donald Trump held a signing ceremony that saw Kosovo agreeing to suspend its efforts to join international organisations for 12 months and Serbia agreeing to temporarily halt its counter-efforts to get countries to derecognise Kosovo, the agreed timeframe is over and both sides are expected to resume their campaigns.

EU commissioner visits Belgrade, then Pristina

Hahn, who is in charge of EU's enlargement negotiations and neighborhood policy, will then travel to Pristina, the European Commission has confirmed for Tanjug.

The main topic of talks in Belgrade and Pristina will be the decision of the Kosovo authorities to levy (100 percent) taxes on goods from central Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).

Serbians can now travel to UAE without visas

Serbia is committed to raising relations with that country to the level of strategic partnership, Dacic also said, according to the Serbian government.

At the reception at the Serbian embassy in Abu Dhabi, Dacic said that the UAE recognized Serbia as an important partner in the Balkans, as evidenced by the number of successful Emirate companies operating in our country.

Dacic attends Non-Aligned Movement conference

The conference is held in Baku, Azerbaijan, and starts on Thursday, Beta agency reported.

During his address, the Serbian foreign minister will present Serbia's stands regarding the activities and role of the Movement and priority issues for Serbia, focussing on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, the Serbian Foreign Ministry has stated.

Dacic meets with Hasanov

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received Azerbaijani Ambassador to Serbia Eldar Hasanov on Wednesday to discuss all aspects of bilateral relations and possibilities for improving them.

They highlighted the significance of economic cooperation between the two countries, with trade as a great potential, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
