NALED: Serbia to invest 100 mln euros in AI development by 2026
BELGRADE - Serbia will invest 100 mln euros in development of artificial intelligence (AI) by 2026, Serbia's National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) announced on Thursday.
In a statement, it said a new AI development strategy until 2030 was due to provide a strategic framework for the undertaking.

European Parliament passes resolution on Serbia
STRASBOURG - The European Parliament on Thursday passed a resolution on the situation in Serbia following the December elections in the country.
The resolution was carried with 461 votes in favour and 53 against and 43 abstentions.

Serbia sells eight-year gov't bonds for 41.5 bln dinars
BELGRADE - The Serbian Public Debt Administration announced on Tuesday it had sold eight-year dinar-denominated government bonds at an auction for 41.5 bln dinars.
In a statement, the Administration said an issue of eight-year Serbian government bonds maturing on October 26, 2031 and first issued on October 24, 2023 had been reopened on Monday.
Serbian gov't adopts regulation on subsidies for EVs
BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted on Thursday a regulation on subsidies for purchases of new electrically-powered vehicles.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection has set aside 170 mln dinars for this purpose.
Natural and legal persons and entrepreneurs are eligible for the subsidies.
