Kozarev: Do not discriminate against Kosovo-Metohija Serbs

GORA - There is no need to discriminate against citizens in Kosovo-Metohija who have passports issued by the Coordination Administration of the Serbian Interior Ministry, Dusan Kozarev, deputy head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, said Friday after the European Commission proposed lifting visa requirements for travellers from Kosovo.

Macedonia "treats arrested ex-KLA member as Serbian citizen"

A Kosovo official and former KLA member who was arrested in Macedonia on war crimes charges says he is "treated as a citizen of Serbia."

Croatia sends 217 "economic migrants" back to Serbia

Croatia has sent a group of 217 economic migrants - that UNHCR said are mostly Afghanis, Iraqis, along with a small number of Syrians - back to Serbia.

The Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) spokesperson Biljana Popovic-Ivkovic said these migrants will be returned to "the countries they came from", based on "agreements and procedures" in place.

Paris attacks suspect registered as refugee in Presevo

One of the suspected terrorists, A.A., who is of interest to the French security agencies, was registered on the Presevo border crossing on Oct. 7 this year.

The Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) announced this on Sunday and said that the man, a Syrian national, on the occasion formally applied for asylum.
