Ustasha graffiti on Serbian Orthodox church in Vinkovci

VINKOVCI - Ustasha graffiti have been painted on the building of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) parish centre in Vinkovc, Croatia.

The graffiti featuring messages of hatred against the Serbs, threats and the Ustasha symbols and mottoes were painted on the SPC parish centre in Vinkovci on Sunday, the Osjek diocese has stated.

Graffiti "KLA", "Kosovo" appear in Zociste Monastery yard

ORAHOVAC - Unidentified perpetrators have daubed graffiti reading "KLA" (Kosovo Liberation Army) and "Kosovo" within the courtyard of the Sveti Vracci (Holy Healers) Monastery in Zocciste, western Kosovo-Metohija, and the Diocese of Raska and Prizren of the Serbian Orthodox Church qualified this as a new provocation.

SPC Patriarch presents Order of Holy King Milutin to Torshin

Exhibition dedicated to Patriarch Pavle opens

BELGRADE - An exhibition containing the legacy of former Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Patriarch Pavle was opened at the Museum of the SPC to mark the 100th anniversary of his birth and the 5th anniversary of his death.

The exhibition was opened by Patriarch Irinej, who said that the event and the items on display would show that Pavle had lived modestly, as a normal person.

BELGRADE -- Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia was on Friday awarded an honorary doctorate of the University of Belgrade (UB).

The accolade came for his exceptional contribution to higher education in theology and promoting the scientific thought in systematic theology, the university said.

BELGRADE - Russia and Serbia are connected by history and religion, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia said during a meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Friday.
