The mainly ethnic town of Ulcinj on the coast of Montenegro says it will declare Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Kosovo Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci honorary citizens at a ceremony scheduled for Saturday.

The Mayor of Ulcinj, Fatmir Djeka, revealed the decision, and officials say top Montenegrin officials, including President Filip Vujanovic, will be in attendance.

Police investigate threats against Vucic

BELGRADE -- Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic says the Department for High Tech Crime launched an investigation into death threats made against Aleksandar Vucic.

These took place "via social networking websites" and were made "by a so-called Black Hand (Crna Ruka) organization."

Eight people arrested today in Serbia for war crimes in Srebrenica

The Serbian police arrested 8 people on Wednesday, suspected of committing a war crime against civilians in the area of Srebrenica, eastern Bosnia.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Wednesday the police suspected that the recent abduction of a two-year girl in Belgrade had been the work of organised crime and that the child would have been sold.

Seven arrested for crimes in Srebrenica

BELGRADE -- The Serbian police arrested early on Wednesday seven people suspected committing a war crime against civilians in the area of Srebrenica, eastern Bosnia.

Serbian police on March 18 arrested seven people suspected of participation in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia, when some 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed, the war crimes prosecutor's office said.
      

Prime minister lauds "brave policemen"

BELGRADE -- Aleksandar Vucic hosted a reception Monday for the members of the Serbian police who rescued a two-year-old girl kidnapped in Belgrade on March 13.

The prime minister said on the occasion that they should be "held up as an example to all who work in the state sector."
