Approximately 700 snow removal vehicles were out clearing the roads last night. All national roads are passable in winter conditions. Nearly 440 snow removal machines are clearing the national roads in areas where it is snowing to ensure safe travel in winter conditions, said the press office of the Road Infrastructure Agency. 

Today, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, heavy goods vehicles over 12 tonnes will be banned from travelling on motorways and busiest roads, said the press office of the Road Infrastructure Agency.

The ban does not apply to vehicles carrying perishable food, livestock or dangerous goods (ADR) loads.

According to EUOBSERVER, a leaked classified European Union Intelligence and Situation Centre (Intcen) document states that Muhammed Fethullah Gulen was not behind the failed coup in Turkey last summer.

According to the same document Gulen is being accused by the Turkish President Erdogan as an excuse in order to increase his political power.
