Slovenia seeking to join MED7
Nicosia – Bilateral ties, EU issues, the Cyprus issue and Slovenia’s desire to join the MED7 topped the agenda as Slovenian Foreign Minister Anže Logar held talks with Cypriot counterpart Nikosom Hristodulidesom. Logar highlighted the need for small and Mediterranean countries to cooperate.

Logar to meet Italian colleague on-line, visit Vatican Friday
Ljubljana – Foreign Minister Anže Logar is expected to hold talks with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio on Thursday, although virtually and not in-person as was originally scheduled, as Di Maio is self-isolating. Logar will nevertheless travel to Rome, as he is also scheduled to visit the Holy See on Friday.
Slovenian diplomat injured in Brussels blasts
The Slovenian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that one of its diplomats was injured in Monday's explosions at the Brussels airport.
Ljubljana daily Delo is reporting, citing a statement issued by the ministry, that the man has been taken to the hospital.
