SCANDAL IN KRAGUJEVAC Former mayor Veroljub Stevanovic accused of corruption

A criminal complaint has been filed against Veroljub Stevanovic, a former mayor of the town of Kragujevac in central Serbia.

Serbia's state broadcaster RTS reported on Tuesday that Stevanovic is suspected of "multi-million embezzlement."

Cars from Kosovo can move through central Serbia only if they have "status-neutral plates (KS)," Milovan Drecun has said.

The MP from the ruling SNS party and chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Kosovo and Metohija said on Friday that Pristina has "interpreted an agreement on insurance in a way that is unacceptable to Serbia."

PRISTINA, BELGRADE -- A draft resolution "on the genocide of Serbs committed against Albanians" during the 1999 war in Kosovo has been submitted to the Kosovo assembly.

According to officials in Belgrade, the resolution represents "a message to Serb deputies not to return to the Kosovo assembly."
